Video Info
Welcome to the VO SUMMER Series where we have curated mixes from the community. Please enjoy these mixes as a countdown to our Halloween celebration.
VO: What are your favorite genres to collect and feature on your channel?
MFER: Lately I really appreciate psychedelic jazz, gospel and folk blues stuff.
Regarding my favorite tracks featured on my channel I'll pick the private releases or the ones from obscure little labels: I love the idea to help giving credit to so many great musicians who would probably be forgotten otherwise.
///
VO: Do you have a physical collection?
MFER: I do, but it's nothing compared the digital one. I regret this approach but in all honesty I wouldn't be able to materially select the amounts of stuff I share.
///
VO: What happened to your first channel?
MFER: Well, due to copyright issues (and non-sense YT policies?) had to hide it for a few months.
Had no luck with "MfER II" that was gone in a night span. BTW I opened another parallel channel with a different approach and timeline: late80s/90s/2K experimental electronic, new age, avantgarde, balearic ambient etc.. It's called "Selvatica" @selvatican
///
VO: What should everyone listen to after this mix?
MFER: Absolutely nothing. Click on the replay button, go outside and let the empty room enjoy it.
